- 01Miharu detects changes to web pages on the server side and sends notifications. If a notification doesn't arrive, please check the following in order. 1) Notifications are turned on for Miharu Open the Settings app → Notifications → Miharu, and make sure "Allow Notifications" is turned on. 2) Sounds and banners are turned on On the same screen, check that "Sounds", "Banners", "Lock Screen", and "Notification Center" are enabled. If these are off, notifications may arrive without a sound or without appearing on screen. 3) A Focus mode isn't silencing notifications Open Settings → Focus. If you use a mode such as "Do Not Disturb", "Sleep", "Work", or "Reduce Interruptions", make sure Miharu's notifications are allowed. Adding Miharu to the allowed apps, or turning on "Time-Sensitive Notifications" for that Focus, helps notifications come through even during Focus. 4) Miharu isn't in the Scheduled Summary If you use Settings → Notifications → Scheduled Summary, notifications from apps included in the summary are delivered at set times rather than immediately. To receive Miharu notifications right away, remove Miharu from the summary. 5) If you use an Apple Watch When your Apple Watch is on your wrist and your iPhone is locked, notifications may be delivered to the Apple Watch instead of appearing on the iPhone. Please also check the notifications on your Apple Watch. 6) Other Please also check the silent switch (mute) and the volume on your device. If the issue persists after checking all of the above, restarting your iPhone sometimes helps.
- 02Unfortunately, there may be limitations on accessing websites from monitoring tools like Miharu, or certain web page structures may not be compatible with monitoring. We recommend trying our free trial to monitor actual web pages. Especially when considering subscribing to our Enhanced Monitoring, we recommend trying to monitor your desired web pages to ensure compatibility before subscribing.
- 03The chosen operation mode affects how Miharu periodically monitors web pages. In Simple Mode, Miharu accesses and monitors web pages using a simplified mechanism different from browsers like Safari. Due to this simplified mechanism, some web pages that rely on browser-generated content may not be monitored correctly, and the number of monitorable web pages may be limited compared to Advanced Mode. In Advanced Mode, Miharu accesses and monitors web pages using a mechanism equivalent to Safari and other browsers. With this equivalent mechanism, Miharu can monitor a wider range of web pages, including those relying on browser-generated content. However, depending on the web page structure, there may be cases where access is not possible in each operation mode. You can check whether a web page is accessible in each operation mode when adding monitorings in Miharu. In Simple Mode, even if access is possible, the inability to generate the page may result in the inability to monitor the content correctly. Therefore, if both operation modes are available, we recommend selecting Advanced Mode.
- 04By setting up "Account Link (Sign In)" in the Miharu installed on your previous device before the device switch, you can transfer the data (watchlist, etc.) to the Miharu installed on your new device. The data is associated with your account (Apple or Google), so when you set up "Account Link" in the Miharu installed on your new device after the device switch, you can transfer the data. We recommend setting up "Account Link" on your previous device before the device switch in order to prepare for future device switches.
- 05By setting up "Account Link (Sign In)", you can share data (such as watchlists) between Miharu installed on different devices. At the same time, you will receive push notifications, including updates, on each device. To share the monitoring from your iPhone to your iPad, please set up "Account Link" on the Miharu installed on your iPhone first, and then set it up on the Miharu installed on your iPad.
- 06After changing to a new device or reinstalling the app, your paid plan status may not be reflected in the app, and you may be treated as a free user. If this happens, you may no longer be able to add monitors because of the limit on the number of monitors available under the free plan. First, open “App Settings” → “Subscription” → “Paid Plan” and check whether your active paid plan is displayed. If your paid plan is not displayed, try restoring it from “Paid Plan” → “Restore Subscription.” Please note that restoration requires you to be using the device with the same Apple Account that was used previously.
- 07First, open the settings screen for the monitoring you want to delete from the Watchlist. Next, scroll to the bottom of the settings screen and tap “Delete This Monitoring.”
- 08You can cancel your subscription through the Settings app. 1) Open the Settings app. 2) Tap on your name (Apple ID). (If you are not logged in, please log in with the Apple ID used for the subscription.) 3) Tap on "Subscriptions". 4) Tap on "Miharu - Web Alert / Enhanced Monitoring". 5) Tap on "Cancel Subscription". Finally, confirm the cancellation. Your subscription for enhanced monitoring will be stopped. Please note that the operation may vary depending on the OS version of your device and account status. - 09The detailed specification for Webhook External Notifications is available in our dedicated "Webhook Integration Guide". Webhook Integration Guide: https://www.miharu-app.com/en/webhook-integration-guide The guide covers: - Setup - HTTP specification (method, headers, timeout) - Payload format (common fields, per-event details, sample JSON) - Idempotency and security - Integrations (Zapier / Make / n8n / your own server) - Limitations and troubleshooting This feature is intended for developers and power users; you need to implement the receiving side (an endpoint that accepts HTTP POST and returns 2xx).
